The following diagram is out of date: the PGP pathfinder is removed altogether because clients validate authenticity/identity and the server just computes trust.
Dave Brondsema and Andy Schamp designed and began implementing Konfidi for their senior project at Calvin College. They wrote a formal paper that describes their work.
